Hoops announce two more friendlies
Shamrock Rovers have confirmed that they have added two more friendlies to their pre-season programme. However, their first game in Tallaght has still not been announced.
On Saturday 21 February, Rovers travel to Ferrycarrig Park to take on Wexford Youths (kick-off 6pm), while on Sunday 1 March, Michael O'Neill will lead his troops into battle against Athlone Town at Lissywollen (kick-off 3pm).
Rovers now have four warm-up games arranged, with this latest two adding to the recent news that they will play Newry City at The Showgrounds on Tuesday 10 February (kick-off 7.30pm) and Longford Town at Flancare Park a week later (kick-off TBC).
The club's build-up to the new season was disrupted slightly earlier this week when their friendly away to Tolka Rovers was cancelled due to the adverse weather conditions.
