Galway confirm Cork friendly
Galway United have announced that they will take on Cork City in a pre-season friendly at Terryland Park on Wednesday 18 February. The game will have a 7pm kick-off.
The match is likely to complete Galway's pre-season programme, as they have already arranged five other games for February. Limerick are their first opponents of the month tomorrow afternoon, and that will be followed by games against Mervue United, UCD, Salthill Devon and Mervue again.
Cork now have four friendlies confirmed. Like Galway, their first outing will come tomorrow when they play Waterford United at Bishopstown (kick-off 3pm). The Leesiders will also take on Cobh Ramblers and Kildare County over the next two weeks.
