Cork-Waterford gets go ahead

Cork City's first friendly of the new season against Stephen Henderson's Waterford United has been re-fixed for Bishopstown on Saturday. The kick-off time is set for 3pm and admission is €5 for adults with under 18s free.
The game provides Paul Doolin with a chance to run the rule over a number of trialists currently training with the Leesiders.
Cork City have also announced that they will be travelling to Galway for a friendly on Wednesday the 18th of February, with a 7pm kick-off at Terryland Park.
