Bray vs. Monaghan called off

Bray Wanderers' pre-season friendly against Monaghan United, scheduled for Goldenball this Saturday afternoon, has been called off.
The meeting was due to be both clubs' first warm-up game of the new year but their plans have now been disrupted as a result of the recent bad weather.
Instead, Bray will kick-off their pre-season preparations next Tuesday against Longford Town in Rathnew. Monaghan, on the other hand, have no other friendlies arranged at this point. They are due to play local rivals Dundalk at Kingspan Century Park at some stage over the next month, but a date for that meeting has yet to be confirmed.
