Corcoran stays positive despite the draw
AFTER his last minute equaliser Dinny Corcoran was eager to express happiness, albeit minor, at what he saw as one point gained as opposed to two lost.
“We got the point in the end. It looks like two points dropped but under the circumstances and having gone to ten men we’re happy enough but we’d have preferred the three.”
A credit to Bohemians play last night was how their side improved even after the side went to ten men.
Dinny Corcoran paid tribute to his side’s resilience in the second half where he feels they controlled the game.
“Owen had a right pop at us at half time he said ‘we need to improve simple as that’ and we came out in the second half and I thought we were much better. I thought we were the better side.”
Corcoran netted in the 88th minute for the equaliser on the night. That was Corcoran’s 4th of the season and the new signing was keen to express his delight with his new team.
“It was a great pass from Craig Walsh and I had time to take it down but it skidded past the keeper and the keeper committed himself.”
