Leinster Senior Cup 4th Round Update

The Leinster Senior Cup matches due to be played this weekend (15th/16th February) have all been postponed due to adverse weather conditions. Wexford Youths will now host Athlone Town on Wednesday (19th February) at Ferrycarraig Park. Kilbarrack United will entertain Sheriff YC at Greendale Road on Sunday (23rd February).

The re-fixed dates for the other two games due to be played this weekend (Bohemians v Bray Wanderers and UCD v Shelbourne FC) have yet to be announced.

Earlier in the month, Longford Town and Crumlin United secured their places in the fifth round of the cup. Longford beat Shamrock Rovers (Wexford) 3-1 on penalties after a 2-2 draw. Crumlin United easily dispatched Swords Celtic with a 4-0 win at Pearse Park.

The two remaining fixtures in the 4th round are due to be played over the coming days. St. Patrick’s Athletic will host Dundalk on Monday (17th February) and Shamrock Rovers will play Drogheda United in Tallaght on Wednesday (19th February).
