Cassidy links up with Mathews at Bray
Bray Wanderers have made a triple swoop in the transfer market with classy attacking midfielder David Cassidy joining the club from Drogheda United, Shane O'Neill re-joins the club from Shamrock Bhoys and Niall Cooney has also returned to the club via Crumlin United for the approaching 2014 League of Ireland season.
Cassidy links back up with his former boss Alan Mathews having previously played under him during a four year stint at Shelbourne. It was at Shelbourne that Cassidy and Mathews combined to guide the side back to the Premier Division. His previous clubs also include Dundalk and English Championship side Derby County.
Shane O'Neill continues his love affair with the Seagulls having re-joined the club following a short stint in the off-season with Shamrock Bhoys. He made his debut for the club in 2008 and was named the clubs A-team Player of the Year in 2009. The striker did have a year-long stint at Dundalk before returning to the Carlisle Grounds in 2013.
Niall Cooney also returns to the seaside following an off season stint at non-league Crumlin United. He joined the club in July of 2013 from the same side and was mostly a squad player last season. The 21 year-old will hope to play a bigger part under his new boss this campaign.
