Finn Harps re-sign three

Finn Harps have confirmed the re-signings of Pat McCann, Johnny Bonner and Matty Henry.

McCann and Bonner have both committed to Harps for a second season, while Henry returns to a club where has previously been a member of the Ulster Senior League squad.

The Donegal side have now confirmed 15 players for the 2014 season and have revealed that they hope to be a position to reveal more signings later this week.

Harps’ boss Ollie Horgan spoke to finnharps.com about the recently signed trio, firstly McCann who he has described as dedicated and professional.

"Pat did very well last year and he has the motivation and drive to do even better in the season ahead".

"The board, myself and James are all in agreement that we want players who are dedicated and professional, as well as having ability.  Pat certainly fits that criteria.”

Horgan has confirmed that Henry is currently recovering from injury while Bonner has returned in very good shape and expects him to be battle for his place in the starting line-up this season.

“Matty is a player who I have known since he was a lad, he’s coming back from an injury but with a good pre-season behind him he can hopefully get match sharp again”.

“Johnny is a player who was with Harps last year, he’s come back from Buncrana Hearts in very good shape and is a player who will certainly push for a starting place”.
