Stephen O'Donnell plays trial game
Double winner Stephen O'Donnell lined out on Wednesday night for Gillingham Reserves.
The Galway born midfielder was offered a new contract at Dalymount last December - albeit on significantly reduced terms. Rather than take up Pat Fenlon's offer he preferred to try his luck in England.
O'Donnell wore the number eight jersey for Gillingham Reserves against Brighton and Hove Albion in the Totesport Combination League.
Gillingham lost by two goals to one.
Former League of Ireland player Colin Hawkins lined up for the opposition. The centre back played the full game on his return from a recent calf injury.
