Ten players re-signed for Bohs 2014 campaign
Bohemians have confirmed they have managed to commit ten players from this season's squad on board again for next season.
Although Owen Heary has been readying himself for this Sunday's Tribute Match which sees him draw the curtain on a phenomenal career, he has also been looking to the future and confirming squad members for 2014.
Goalkeeper Dean Delany, who signed from Shelbourne last year, will likely be the number one choice between the sticks again at Dalymount Park following his renewal. Ex-Shels keeper Lee Murphy has joined the Gypsies.
In front of him, Roberto Lopes has signed on the dotted line and he has been joined by Dave Mulcahy who became an instant hero to the Gypsies' faithful when he netted a crucial winner in the Dublin Derby against Shamrock Rovers in August which proved pivotal in staving away relegation.
Another who has become a quickly popular figure in the red and black is Derek Pender for his composed displays and his versatility could be vital for Heary next season.
Products of the club's youth sides, midfield duo Stephen Traynor and Keith Buckley will also continue their association with the club for another year at least.
Tricky winger Karl Moore has ended speculation surrounding his future by committing to the club as has Andy Mulligan and Anto Murphy.
The final name confirmed for next season so far is striker Dinny Corcoran who netted some vital goals for the club during the run-in this year and will be a welcome addition.
Among those thought to be joining Luke Byrne in perhaps leaving the club ahead of next year are Greg Murray, Michael Barker, Ciaran Nangle, Stephen Doran, Anto Murphy, Shane Murray, Lorcan Shannon, Chris Lyons and Dave Scully although those are not certain given that Heary is continuing in his hunt for players for next season.
