Another new face at Longford
Recently appointed Longford Town manager Alan Gough added further to his squad today with the signing of midfielder Gary Curran from Sligo Rovers.
Gough, appointed just before Christmas, has been busy since landing his first managerial job. Colm Jinks and Jason McCartney were the former goalkeepers first signings last Saturday, while Galways Derek Glynn completed his move to Flancare Park on Thursday.
Currans addition to the Longford squad comes after four seasons with his home town club. While at the Showgrounds the twenty one year old won international recognition at under 21 level.
He made just three starts last season for the Bit O'Red.
