Limerick FC support Milford Hospice Harvest Fair

Limerick manager Stuart Taylor and the first-team squad have leant their support to the 28th Annual Milford Hospice Harvest Fair, which takes place at the UL Sports Arena this Sunday, 1 September.

After a recovery session on Sunday morning following Saturday night’s Premier Division game away to Sligo Rovers, Stuart and the players will take part in a number of activities on the day including a penalty shootout competition.

Limerick goalkeepers Barry Ryan, Shane Cusack, Stephen Walsh and Nathan Murray, as well as coach Eddie Hickey, will take turns between the posts.

The Mid-West’s most popular family fun day will open to the public at 11am and continue until 4pm.

Milford Hospice is the designated provider of specialised palliative care for Limerick, Clare and North Tipperary and the service was described recently by the Irish Hospice Foundation as “the most developed in the country”.

Admission and parking is free and it promises to be a fun family day out with new features included in the kiddies’ area and attractions which will be popular for the younger members of the family.

While the kids are occupied, adults will find plenty to interest them with an impressive array of stalls with clothes, shoes, books, cakes and the Wheel of Fortune.
