Thanks Lads!!

As the season is ending and a lot of stadiums will host us no more, extratime.ie would like to give big a shout out and thank you to all the lads who’ve helped us out over the season.

From a personal perspective, Frank Young at Tolka Park and John Fallon at Morton Stadium have been deadly blokes, the latter having just bought me a lovely burger. Each man is nicer than the other, which makes me suspicious as it makes little or no sense…

But I also want to mention these two stewards (see image): Kenneth Norton and Philip Moore - always greeting us wannabe journalists with a smile and a joke as we entered Morton Stadium - have been great lads all year. Despite the obvious sexual tension between the two (Can’t you see it?) they have always been in great form, be it heavy rain or heavier rain.

I hope they miss me over Christmas as much as I’m going to miss them….
