SLIGO ROVERS

Sligo Rovers will be looking to restore their position at the top of the table on Monday, as they welcome league leaders Derry City to The Showgrounds (kick-off 5pm).

Sligo were victorious in their previous meeting this season, with a 1-0 win at the Brandywell on the first day of the season.

The home side are still without injured parties Danny North, Seamus Conneely and Ciaran Kelly. Anthony Elding is out as he is serving suspension, while Iarfhlaith Davoren and Ross Gaynor have returned from their suspensions.

Raffaele Cretaro is back in the Rovers squad following a thigh injury.

Rovers manager Ian Baraclough says he is targeting three points for the visit of the Candystripes.

"Since that defeat against us, Derry have been on a terrific run in the league. They've managed to avoid some of the injury problem that hampered them last season. I knew they had recruited well at the start of the season.

"They are a threat in this league and they will travel to Sligo full of confidence. I don't think things will be won and lost on Monday's game but we know the importance of getting three points on the board and that is what we are targeting.”

DERRY CITY

Derry City travel to Sligo sitting at the top of the Airtricity Premier Division, ahead of Sligo on goal difference.

Declan Devine’s men have only been defeated once this season and that was by Ian Baraclough’s Sligo Rovers.

Paddy Kavanagh is still out through injury thanks to a troublesome hamstring, and Kevin Deery is struggling with knee problems.

Referee: Dave McKeon.
