Gameweek 8 consisted of eleven games, the full programme of games scheduled in the Premier and First Division with the addition of St. Patrick's Athletic rearranged game against Shelbourne. The total attendance figure comes in at 12,374.

 

Of the 11 fixtures, ten of our attendances are official with the Shamrock Rovers game against Bray Wanderers being the only estimate. That estimated figure tops the list with 2,500 followed by Sligo Rovers home game against Cork City with 2,221. That game was also shown live on RTE Two.

 

In the First Division, Athlone Town's win over Finn Harps was witnessed by 467.
