Miika’s Biography
Miiko is a Swedish born full back who declared for Chile in late 2013. He started his career at Superettan (second division) side IF Brommapojkarna and made his debut for the club in 2008. he went on to make 82 competitive appearances in his four years there.
In August 2011 he signed for Malmö FF and made his debut against GAIS within a week of joining. He also took part in Malmo’s European campaign of that season and had made 36 appearances for ‘Di blåe’ (the blues) by the end of 2012.
Miiko is a Swedish U21 international and, although he is left-footed, he often plays in the right-back position. He made his debut for Chile in a 4-0 win over Costa Rica in January 2014 and was named in Chile's 2014 World Cup squad.
