Gary’s Biography
Gary is a Northern Ireland international who has played with Lisburn Boys, Blackburn Rovers, Rochdale and Raufoss. In 2001 he signed for Portadown and formed a prolific scoring partnership with Vinny Arkins. In October 2004 he set an Irish Premier League scoring record when he scored six times against Omagh.
In March 2006 Gary signed for Glentoran where he played for four seasons, scoring 70 times in 132 league appearances. In 2010/11 Gary went on a season-long loan to Glenavon before signing a permanent deal with them in August of 2011.
He was appointed Player/Manager in December 2011. Gary signed a new deal with Glenavon in March 2021 to keep him at the club until the end of the 2024/2025 season.
