Harold's Cross

Harold's Cross is a greyhound stadium on the south side of Dublin city that has been home to five different League of Ireland football teams. Brideville played at the ground from 1929 until their demise in 1945. Dolphin also played there for two seasons, from 1932 to 1934.

In the 50's Transport became the third LoI club to make Harold's Cross their home, spending eleven seasons at the ground from 1951 until 1962.

Shelbourne spent two years at the ground in the 70's, from 1975 to 1977, and returned in the 80's, spending a further seven seasons there from 1982 to 1989, prior to their move to Tolka Park on the north side of the city.

The last LoI side to call Harold's Cross their home were St Patrick's Athletic who were resident from 1989 until November 1993, at which point they returned to their home ground at Richmond Park.
