League of Ireland Attendances - Gameweek 5
A full series of ten games took place for Gameweek 5 and, with pubs closed on Friday, it was an opportunity to lure punters to football grounds with the lack of public houses to distract their attentions.
Thursday night's game between Dundalk and Drogheda United saw the Lilywhites draw their third consecutive over 2,000 attendance. Games against Shamrock Rovers (2,598), Sligo Rovers (2,054) and Drogheda United (2,198) has seen Oriel Park busier than last season.
