Extratime Bets - Week 9

Last week, Frankie put all his eggs in a Wexford shaped basket as he believed Waterford would not get anything from their First Division clash. The Blues, sore from a 6-0 hockeying at the hands of the Youths earlier this season were in vengeful mood and won 4-0 on the night. As a result, we have sent Frankie away to think about what he has done, and this week Gareth Penrose steps into the breach.

Drogheda United are unbeaten on their travels this season. Three from three on the road has resulted in nine of their 17 points. UCD have managed two wins from four in Belfield, on the opening day of the season against Cork and a close game in March against Monaghan. I think that Drogheda will continue their good form on the road and win in South Dublin on Friday.

Having been well beaten last week, I think Wexford will bounce back as they play SD Galway at home. The Galway team have failed to register a win this season and have lost four from four away from home. I'm betting on that form to continue so a Wexford win will form the second part of my bet.

The bet:

Wexford Youth and Drogheda United to win (Paddy Power) @ 4pts - Win Potential - €125

Profit for the season +€120.50

*Based on 1pt equalling to €10
