UEFA announces 2025 qualifier schedule for Ireland's under-17 and under-19 teams
The Republic of Ireland's under-17 and under-19 women's football teams have their sights set on the 2025 UEFA European Championship, following the recent draw that determined their opponents in the qualifiers.
In the picturesque Swiss town of Nyon, the under-17 team found out they will compete in Group B5, facing off against the Faroe Islands and Lithuania.
Their campaign kicks off with a match against Lithuania on March 9, 2025, followed by a game against the Faroe Islands three days later.
Meanwhile, the under-19 squad has been drawn into Group A6, where they will tackle a challenging lineup including France, Serbia, and Cymru.
Their matches are scheduled for early April 2025, starting with France on April 2, followed by Serbia on April 5, and concluding with Cymru on April 8.
