Shamrock Rovers secured back-to-back away wins and clean sheets with a 2-0 victory over Bohemians in the Dublin Derby in Dalymount Park on Friday night.

In front of 4,290 spectators, the Hoops got the victory thanks to a first half header from Neil Farrugia and a cute left foot finish from an acute angle from Rory Gaffney in the 66th minute.

Despite losing their first home game of the season, Declan Devine’s men remain top of the table – three points clear of Derry City who lost 1-0 at home to Drogheda United.
