Alec Byrne signs for Treaty United

    • Treaty United have announced the signing of Alec Byrne for the 2023 League of Ireland season.

    The 23 year old joins the Limerick club having departed Cork City were he began his career in 2015.

    Byrne progressed through the Rebels’ Academy and went on to make close to 50 appearances for their first team, winning a Munster Senior Cup and the 2022 League of Ireland First Division.

    The midfielder will be available for selection for Treaty’s game against Galway United on Friday, 24 February (kick-off 7.45pm).
