The FAI have announced that TG4 will broadcast Women’s Premier Division games for a third consecutive season.

The Irish language channel began showing a select number of games on their Sacar Beo programme with coverage set to increase one again with 12 games to be shown live in 2023.

“We are delighted to continue our relationship with TG4 and bring more visibility to the SSE Airtricity Women’s Premier Division as it continues to grow year on year,” League of Ireland Director Mark Scanlon said in a statement today.

“As part of our rebrand of the League of Ireland, we want to connect with as many fans as possible and TG4 have helped us to reach new audiences and have done a fantastic job with their production around each game.

“The title race has gone to the wire in each of the last two seasons and the TG4 cameras have been on hand to capture all of the drama and high quality action and so we are looking forward to the 2023 season being even bigger and better than ever before.”
