As part of our recently announced extratime.com Irish Football Project, we have completed our first target for the Women’s National League which, as of today, will be known as the League of Ireland Women’s Premier Division. We now have a record of every goal scored in the league since its inception in 2011.

One of our main objectives is not just to record this data but to give you the ability to query it so we have now an interactive “All-Time Top Scorers” list where you can easily locate any player that has ever scored in the league and their total goals scored.

It will come as no surprise to fans of the league that recent Shamrock Rovers signing Aine O’Gorman tops the goal scoring charts with an impressive 187 goals to date.

Her Hoops teammate, Stephanie Roche, is in second place but 86 goals behind on 101. Completing the top three is Shelbourne stalwart Noelle Murray on 95.

In total, 380 different players have registered at least one goal in the league over the last 11 years.

As we continue to complete our data in the Women’s Premier Division, we will expand the functionality we will offer.
