Shels double winner Alex Kavanagh named October WNL Player of the Month

Shelbourne midfielder Alex Kavanagh was named as the SSE Airtricity Women's National League Player of the Month Award for October 2022.
The Tolka Park based team ended the season as double winners retaining their WNL title and going on to complete the double with last weekend’s victory over Athlone Town in the
EVOKE.ie FAI Women's Cup Final.
The player previously won the player of the month award in April 2019 and this time around she beat her team-mate Jessie Stapleton and DLR Waves forward Kate Mooney to secure the award.
