Athlone Town secured their first win since May when they played out a 2-1 victory over Treaty United in the Women’s National League on Saturday.

Emily Corbet put the Town in the lead in the first half when the striker scored from the penalty spot but United fought back in the 54th minute when Gillian Keenan scored for the visitors.

Laoise O’hAodha scored from close range in the 76th minute to claim the three points for Tommy Hewitt’s side.
