Cabinteely celebrate International Women's Day with free admission for women

With International Women's Day taking place this Friday 8 March, Cabinteely are offering free admission to women to their SSE Airtricity League First Division game against Longford Town on Friday.

The theme for International Women's Day this year is 'Think equal, build smart, innovate for change' and Cabinteely are being innovative with their approach to attracting new supporters to Stradbrook and recongnising the work of their women volunteers.

The club note that “Cabinteely FC, which caters for over 60 teams under the banner of 'Football for All from Small to Tall', is very conscious of the vital role that women volunteers have had in building the club over the years and continue to do so, on and off the pitch to the present day.

“To celebrate International Women’s Day and in recognition of the great work at the club by our women volunteers Cabinteely FC is offering Free Admission to all women for our SSE Airtricity League First Division game versus Longford Town in Stradbrook on this Friday night, KO 7.45pm.”
