EA Sports Cup Second Round Fixtures confirmed

The kick off times and dates for the second round of the EA SPORTS Cup have been confirmed.

All bar one of the ties will be played on Easter Monday (2 April) with the remaining tie set for 23 April.

There is still one game from the weather delayed first round to be completed. That will also take place on Easter Monday when St. Mochta's play Drogheda United (with a 5.30pm kick off).

The winners of that final first round tie will play Shelbourne in Tolka Park on 23 April.

UCD beat Athlone Town away on Tuesday evening to earn their place in the Second Round. The Students will now take on Bohemians in Dalymount Park on 2 April. Bohs beat Cabinteely 5-1 on Monday evening (see match report here).

The holders Dundalk are drawn away to St. Patrick's Athletic while last year’s runners up Shamrock Rovers take on Longford Town at home for the second season in row in this competition.

When the sides met in the quarter-final last year, the Hoops won 1-0 at Tallaght Stadium. While league Champions Cork City will face Waterford who beat UCC (see report here).
