Bonner commits to Harps for 2015 season

Derry native Caoimhin Bonner has committed to Finn Harps for the 2015 season.  An uncompromising defender, Bonner has previously been on the books of Kilmarnock and Derry City.

Harps manager Ollie Horgan is happy to have secured the services of Bonner for the coming campaign.

“Caoimhin was part of a solid defensive unit last year and we’re delighted he has re-signed for 2015.  We have secured the services of most of our main players from last year and we have a solid base to build on, which is exactly what we’ll look to do in the coming weeks.”

In recent weeks Horgan has confirmed the signings of Ciaran Coll, Damien McNulty, Gareth Harkin, Brian McGroary, Ciaran Gallagher, Kevin McHugh, Keith Cowan, Thomas McMonagle, Michael Funston and Tony McNamee for the 2015 season. Shaun Patton and Sean McCarron have left the club for Derry City and Cliftonville respectively.

Finn Harps finished 5th in the Airtricity League First Division in 2014, winning seven games, drawing 11 and losing ten.
