The Slog Sweep, Ireland's Weekly Cricket Show - Episode Nine

This week on The Slog Sweep we were joined by Cricket Ireland CEO Warren Deutrom, fresh back from the ICC Annual Conference in Melbourne. Warren chats to us about everything regarding Irish Cricket; from the importance of the meetings in Melbourne to the future he foresees for the sport in Ireland. We are also delighted to welcome Irish broadcasting legend George Hook to The Slog Sweep Team, as he makes his debut as co-host this week in the booth with Lenny.

Our ninth visit to 'Club Corner' is to Greystones Cricket Club, where President David Drane joined us in-studio discussing the start-up of the club and its truly remarkable progression so far. We also hear from Leinster under 13 Manager Michael O'Gorman after their successful interprovincial tournament in Dublin last week.

YMCA's Emma Flanagan also chatted to us previewing the Leinster Women's Cup Final against Pembroke, taking place on Friday in Sydney Parade. And as usual, we are 'Around the Grounds' with our three correspondents, Barry Chambers, David Holmes and Ger Siggins who tell us about a very exciting weekend of cricket coming up. There's a very special Performances of the Week segment with a Munster twist, a batsman-heavy O'Neill's Team of the Week , and much much more.

Hosted by George Hook and Andrew Leonard with thanks to Johnston, Mooney & O'Brien.
