League of Ireland Match Official 2014 – Gameweek 7

A team of Welsh match officials will take charge of the Airtricity League Premier Divisions match between Bray Wanderers and Derry City on Friday night.
This is part of an on-going exchange programme between the FAI and the Football Association of Wales and one of a number that the Association has engaged in over recent years with exchanges having also take place with Northern Ireland, Scotland and Malta.
“The exchange programmes have been very successful and assist us in preparing up and coming referees and assistant referees for European and international matches. They get valuable experience of refereeing in a different environment,” said FAI Referee Programme Co-Ordinator, John Ward.
