The fourth series of matches in the 2014 SSE Airtricity League take place this weekend with the RTE cameras heading to Tallaght Stadium on Friday night where Premier Division leaders Shamrock Rovers meet FAI Ford Cup holders Sligo Rovers.
That match kicks-off at 7.05pm while the five remaining Premier Division matches begin at 7.45pm.
Second-place Cork City, who trail the Hoops on goal difference, are in Athlone where they face the only team in either division without a point while third place Dundalk are at home to Bohemians who will be looking to bounce back from last week’s Dublin derby defeat at home to Shamrock Rovers.
Bray Wanderers and UCD meet at the Carlisle Grounds while defending champions St Patrick’s Athletic head north to play a Derry City side still looking for their first win of the campaign.
Drogheda United, who have made an unbeaten start to the season, put that record on the line when they meet Limerick at Thomond Park with Stuart Taylor’s side still searching for their first win.
The only game on Friday in the First Division is the South East derby between Waterford United and Wexford Youths at the RSC while on Saturday leaders Finn Harps are at home to new boys Galway and third place Longford Town are away to Cobh Ramblers.
The final fixture of the weekend will be on Sunday afternoon at Tallaght Stadium when Shamrock Rovers meet second place Shelbourne in what should be a keenly contested Dublin derby. That game starts at 3pm.
