The 2013 EA SPORTS Cup has reached the quarter-final stage with three ties down for decision on Monday night.

 

Holders Drogheda United will face Cork City at Hunky Dory’s Park and will be hoping to gain a boost heading into their Europa League qualifier against Malmo on Thursday. Bohemians and Derry City face each other for the second time in four days after meeting in the Airtricty League last Friday at the Brandywell when Derry City won 2-1. Derry have the best record in the Premier Division away from home while Bohemians form at Dalymount Park has yielded just seven points out of a possible 27 - READ GARETH O'REILLY'S PREVIEW

 

Last season’s Premier and First Division champions meet at Thomond Park where Limerick, fresh from their comeback win against Dundalk on Saturday night, take on a Sligo Rovers that enjoyed a 2-0 win over bottom side Shelbourne - READ ALAN FINN'S PREVIEW

 

The reaming quarter-final between Shamrock Rovers and St Patrick’s Athletic has been postponed because of St Pat’s trip to Lithuania for their Europa League quarter final on Thursday. No date has yet been set for the re-fixture.

 



All quarter-final ties will be played to a finish with extra time and penalties if required. Extratime.ie will be at all three venues providing full live updates for those of you who cannot make the game.
