Stephen’s Biography
Stephen played for Lourdes Celtic and Cherry Orchard in his youth before joining Wolverhampton Wanderers academy in the summer of 2006. He went out on many loans, three of which were to Stockport County as well as Hereford United and MK Dons. He then signed for the latter club in July 2009.
Stephen went on to make over two hundred appearances for the MK Dons across five seasons in League One but left the club at the end of his contract in June 2014 to join Championship side Birmingham City.
In January 2018, Stephen signed for Mick McCarthy's Ipswich Town on loan from Birmingham for the rest of the season.
Stephen has previously been called up to the Republic of Ireland senior squad, and ahead of the friendlies with Switzerland and Slovakia, he has 2 caps to his name.
