Roman’s Biography
Roman was called up to the Switzerland squad to face the Republic of Ireland in a friendly in March 2016. He was playing with Borussia Dortmund at the time. Roman started his career off at Young Boys in Switzerland before playing for league rivals Grasshopper. He moved to SC Freiburg in May 2014 but only spent a season there as he moved to Dortmund in June 2015.
He was with the German side when he was included in Switzerland's squad for the 2016 European Championship.
