Stephen ’s Biography

Stephen made his debut for Coleraine back in the 2007/08 season. He made 18 league appearances there, scoring twice, before heading to the States in 2010 to take up a scholarship playing college football with Loyola Maryland. The winger made some appearances for Coleraine during his trips home and last played for them in December 2013.

Stephen joined Derry City in June 2014 under manager Peter Hutton and went on to make14 league appearances for the Candystripes, scoring once in a 5-0 win over Bray Wanderers in his first game. He also played in the 2014 FAI Cup Final, which Derry lost 2-0 to St Pats. Stephen stayed at the club for the 2015 season and added a further 15 league appearances to his career total, as well as two goals as Derry finished seventh in the 2015 Premier Division.

In January 2016, Stephen moved south to join Cork City. He made his league bow for the rebels on the opening night of the season in a 2-0 win over Bohemians at Turner's Cross and went on to play in 26 of their 33 league matches. He also played in all six of City's Europa League games and in their FAI Cup final win over Dundalk.

In December 2017, Stephen signed for Coleraine on a six month contract.

In late May 2018, Stephen then made his first move into English football when he signed for Rochdale on a two year deal.
