Andreas’s Biography
Andreas is a Swedish defender who plays for Genoa in Italy.
He began his professional career at Swedish club Helsingborgs in 2004. He spent three years at the club, making 72 league appearances, before signing a loan deal at Wigan Athletic in January 2007. He signed a permenant contract that summer but played only 14 league games before returning to Helsingborgs on loan in March 2008.
In the summer of 2008 Andreas moved to Dutch side Groningen where he scored 21 times in 95 league appearances in his three year spell at the club. In June 2011 it was announced that Andreas had signed for Italian Serie A side Genoa. Two years were spent in Italy before he moved to Russian side Krasnodar in August 2013.
Andres was there when he was included in the Sweden squad for the 2016 European Championship.
