Ismahil’s Biography

Ismahil played with St Patrick's Athletic's U19 side in their 2011/12 season and in July 2012 he signed for Pat Devlin at Bray Wanderers. He made his league debut for the club as a late substitute against Shamrock Rovers on 22 July 2012 and by the end of the 2012 season he had made 5 league appearances.

Ismahil became a regular in 2013 and scored his first league goal for Bray in a 5-4 win over UCD at Belfield on 8th June, the first of six league goals that season. He made 31 league appearances that year and added 29 more in 2014 under new manager Alan Mathews, scoring twice. He left Bray at the end of the 2014 season.

In June 2015, Ismahil returned to the League of Ireland when he signed for Bohemian FC and was put straight into the starting line-up in a 2-1 win over Dundalk. He went on to make a further 18 league appearances for the club, scoring ten goals in the process, as Bohs just missed out on European football and finished fifth. He was included on the shortlist for the 2015 PFAI Young Player of the Year award and the following season, 2016, he weighed in with five goals in 18 league appearances.

In November 2017, Ismahil swapped Dalymount for the RSC and signed for Waterford FC. In June 2018, Ismahil extended his Blues contract till the end of the 2019 season.
