Grainne’s Biography
Grainne Barrett is a central midfield player.
Grainne previously played for Mervue United and Galway Bohemians before moving to Castlebar Celtic in 2011. She was part of the Castlebar Celtic squad for the inaugural Women's National League in 2011. She joined Galway WFC for the 2013/14 Women's National League season and played with them until the end of 2017.
She has won the Senior Irish Cup with Galway District League team in 2007. She has also represented the Galway District League in Europe in 2008 following the cup win. She has three under 19 international caps and one senior international cap with the Republic of Ireland.
