Darren’s Biography

Darren played for Rockmount before joining Cork City's U19 League and Cup double winning teams of 2011/2012 and 2012/13. He made his first senior appearance as a substitute against Avondale United in the Munster Senior Cup in April 2013. He made his league debut for the Rebels away to Derry City on 16 March 2014 and went on to make 4 league appearances in a season that saw John Caulfield's side finish runners up to title winners Dundalk.

Darren joined Cobh Ramblers in February 2015 and went on to make sixteen league appearances for the club, scoring three goals including one against future employers Waterford United in a 1-0 win. Darren then left Cobh and signed for Waterford United in July of that same year with his new club rooted to the bottom of the table under the stewardship of Roddy Collins. Darren only made 3 appearances for his new boss but the club did manage to leap up one place come the end of the season.

Darren stayed with Waterford for the 2016 season and made nine league appearances, scoring twice in a win over UCD and a draw against Athlone Town, before leaving the club in June 2016. He then returned to Cobh Ramblers in July 2016 and made another 7 league appearances as the Rams reached the promotion play-offs. In December 2016 Darren committed to another year at St Colman's Park.

Darren re-signed for Cobh for the 2018 season.

In February 2021, Darren signed for Cobh after spending the previous two seasons at Ringmahon Rangers.
