WATERFORD

Waterford boss Keith Long will be forced to rejig his side ahead of their home clash against Sligo Rovers at the RSC (kick-off is at 7.45pm).

The Blues head into this game reeling following the departure of assistant boss Alan Reynolds.

Reynolds left Long’s backroom team at the RSC to become first-team manager of their top-flight rivals Bohemians.

And Waterford may also have to make do without the services of Harvey Macadam and Barry Baggley who are injury doubts.

Darragh Leahy however returns from suspension while Darragh Power is is fit again.

SLIGO ROVERS

JR Wilson is a doubt for Sligo ahead of their trip to the RSC on Friday night.

John Mahon remains out for John Russell’s men but the Bit O’Red boss is confident that his side can spring a surprise.

His side have even won twice in their last three games.

“Waterford have had a good start to the season”, Russell said. “They have some really good players so we know it will be a tough test on Friday night.

“We come into the game looking to build on our performances so far. We have a new group so it’s important we continue to improve our connections on the pitch while still picking up points.”

Referee: Marc Lynch.
