Juventus prospect signs loan deal with Empoli

Empoli have confirmed the loan signing of Italy under 21 international Filippo Ranocchia, Juventus have confirmed.
The deal contains an option for a permanent transfer with Juventus maintaining a buy back option.
The move will see Ranocchia spend a second consecutive season in Serie A – the midfielder made 16 appearances for Monza last season.
The 22 year old has also played senior football in spells with Perugia and Juventus under 23s in Serie C and Vicenza in Serie B.
