EURO 2020 Special Sportscast

We are back with a EURO 2020 Special Sportscast this week.

Our reporters Dave Donnelly and Macdara Ferris were busy getting all the post-draw reaction from the Convention Centre in Dublin on Sunday.

Dave gave Mick McCarthy a grilling on whether the Republic of Ireland have enough players at the top level of club football and asked Joh Dahl Tomasson about qualification expectations in Denmark.

We hear from Michael O'Neill on what was a cruel draw for Northern Ireland and from England manager Gareth Southgate speaking about Declan Rice.

Macdara Ferris caught up with Ronald Koeman and our Sportscast host Declan Marron was very much in agreement with the Dutch manager on how the draw worked out with the Republic of Ireland not having to face the Netherlands and Germany:

Ronald Koeman - It was first Ireland and it was changed to Northern Ireland and that is okay.

Declan Marron - Yeah, it bloody was Ronald to be honest with you from our point of view!

The lads also delve into Stephen Kenny’s potential surprise successor at Dundalk and the latest League of Ireland transfer news.
