Cork City v Dundalk Mark IV on the cards as top two kept apart again in FAI Cup semi-final draw

Cork City face a trip to either Bohemians or Derry City in the semi-finals as they look to lift the FAI Cup for a third successive season.

The Leesiders were comprehensive 7-0 winners over Longford Town at City Calling Stadium on Friday night - a good omen as they've knocked out the midlanders in both of the last two seasons.

Their opponents in the last three finals, Dundalk, will host UCD in the other semi-final after the Students saw off Waterford in the previous round.

Dundalk defeated Limerick 4-0 at the Market's Field on Friday night as they look to claim the FAI Cup for the first time since Richie Towell's extra-time winner sealed the double in 2015.

Derry City host Bohemians in the final quarter-final on Wednesday, September 19th after the tie was originally postponed due to the Candystripes' four under-21 international call-ups.

The games are scheduled to be played on the weekend of September 30th, with full details to be confirmed in due course.
