Denmark up next for Bohs' under-19 team as they're drawn to play Midtjylland in UEFA Youth League

Under-19 SSE Airtricity League Champions Bohemians have been drawn to play against Danish side FC Midtjylland in the UEFA Youth League first round.

The draw that took place in Nyon this week which included the Gypsies in the Domestic Champions pot with the Irish side due to begin their European adventure with an away trip first on the 3rdof October and the return leg in Dublin on October 24th.

Head coach Craig Sexton was content with the draw and also happy to have the second leg at home.

“It’s an honour for the club, to be in the UEFA Youth League with such a high calibre of teams,” said Sexton. “We look forward to travelling to Denmark for the first leg, and to welcoming Midtjyland to Dublin.

“This is the third year in a row that the Under-19 SSE Airtricity League has been represented in the competition. We look forward to following in the fine work done by UCD and Cork City in recent years."

During the week, Bohs u19 team lifted the Enda McGuill cup defeating St. Patrick’s Athletic 2-1 (see match report here).
