Dundalk v Shamrock Rovers among four games rescheduled due to European and EA Sports Cup action

Cork City's Premier Division clash with St Patrick's Athletic has been pushed back while the previously-postponed meeting of Dundalk and Shamrock Rovers has also been rescheduled.

The FAI have announced changed to a number of Airtricity League fixture as a result of teams competing on the European stage and Cobh Ramblers’s run to the EA Sports Cup final.

As a result of Cork City’s European commitments against Norwegian side Rosenborg, their home fixture originally scheduled for Friday August 17th will now take place on Sunday, August 19th with a kick-off time of 7pm.

The matc between Dundalk and Rovers, which had been set to take place on Friday, August 3rd but was postponed due to Dundalk's Europa League ties, will now take place at Oriel Park on Tuesday, August 28th.

Cobh Ramblers will face Derry City in the EA Sports Cup final on Sunday, September 16th so fixtures for both teams for that weekend have been postponed.

Derry's trip to Dundalk and Cobh's away game with Athlone Town are affected, and new dates for both fixtures will be announced soon.
