Conor Clifford and New Zealand international Henry Cameron among four to leave Limerick

A clear-out of players has taken place at relegation-threatened Limerick as the club confirm four players have left the Super Blues.

Conor Clifford and Mark O’Sullivan have exited the club along with New Zealand international Henry Cameron and Daniel Kearns.

All but Cameron were in their first season with the club, Clifford having only joined in April, while Cameron was in the second year of his deal.

The club recently confirmed they would have to reduce their budget and would facilitate players moving on, and the four have opted to cut short their contracts.

“We thank the boys for their professionalism, commitment and effort in their time at the club,” manager Tommy Barrett told the club's website.

“They are all good professionals, honest and well committed, and we wish them all well in the future.”

Limerick face bottom of the table Bray Wanderers in the Premier Division tomorrow night in a relegation six pointer at Markets Field (kick-off 7:45pm).
