The Extratime.ie Sportscast Episode 112 - Kevin Toner - Saoirse Noonan

On the latest edition of the Extratime.ie Sportscast, Declan Marron and Dave Donnelly are joined by St Patrick's Athletic defender Kevin Toner and Cork City striker Saoirse Noonan.

Toner spoke to us in advance of Tuesday's derby defeat to Shamrock Rovers on the back of a run of form that saw Pats surge into the top half of the table and into the conversation for Europe.

The former Aston Villa talked about the quality his friend Graham Burke has and what he can bring to the Ireland set-up as well as thriving under Liam Buckley's expansive playing style.

And Ireland under-19 international Noonan spoke after her hat-trick in a win over Kilkenny United moved her second in the Women's National League goalscoring charts with nine from seven games.

Noonan spoke about the challenges of juggling soccer and GAA, the increased expectation following City's FAI Cup win and her ambitions of breaking into the senior international squad.

The lads also discuss the call-up of Shane Supple to the international squad and preview all the weekend's League of Ireland and Women's National League action.
