WNL fixtures moved forward to avoid Champions League clash

The FAI have announced a number of changes to certain Women’s National League fixtures over the coming weeks.

Firstly, the kick off times for all games that are scheduled for next Saturday, May 26th have been brought forward to earlier in the day to avoid a clash with the Champions League final that evening.

Wexford Youths v Kilkenny United – Kick off will now be at 3pm.

Peamount United v Shelbourne Ladies – Kick off will now be at 4pm.

Galway Women v UCD Waves – Kick off will now be at 4.30pm.

A number of changes have also been made for games in June.

Limerick v Wexford Youths – Game will now take place on Saturday 23rd June at University of Limerick (kick-off 7.30pm)

The two outstanding WNL Development Shield quarter final ties will be as follows:

Shelbourne Ladies v Galway Women – Saturday, June 2nd (kick-off 3pm).

Cork City v Limerick WFC – Sunday, June 3rd (kick-off 2pm).



Finally, the draw for the semi-finals of the WNL League Cup will take place on Tuesday, May 22nd at FAI HQ at 5pm.
